Full Text

1 From ev’ry danger, doubt and fear,
God is able to deliver thee!
His mighty presence ever near,
God is able to deliver thee!

Refrain:
He is able, He is able,
Able to deliver thee;
He is able, He is able,
God is able to deliver thee.

2 From fierce temptation’s subtle snares,
God is able to deliver thee!
His love is swifter than the pray’rs,
God is able to deliver thee! [Refrain]

3 In sorrow’s dark and heavy night,
God is able to deliver thee!
His word commands the dayspring bright,
God is able to deliver thee! [Refrain]

4 Then trust Him e’en thro’ flood and flame,
God is able to deliver thee!
He liveth evermore the same,
God is able to deliver thee! [Refrain]

5 When passing thro’ the valley chill,
God is able to deliver thee!
His love will be around thee still,
God is able to deliver thee! [Refrain]
