Duke was born on 26/02/1967 in Walsall, West Midlands in the UK. He was brought up in a christian home, attending church from birth. Praise and Worship was an integral part of the local Pentecostal church. He started teaching himself piano when he was 11 years old after my eldest brother brought one home and 3 years later got the opportunity to start playing at church. His song writing was inspired by his eldest brother who had written songs for the choir “Re:Mission” that led to their first vinyl recording in 1979 entitled “God's Got A Blessing For You”.
