Representative Text

1 Kneeling here in deepest sorrow,
Over sin within thy soul,
For thee dawns a glad tomorrow;
Pray until the burdens roll.

Chorus:
Pray till the blessing comes,
He will hear thee, He will answer;
Pray till the blessing comes,
Jesus waits to answer pray’r.

2 Leave thee here thy weight of anguish
And thy rescued soul shall rise,
As a bird escapes the fowler—
It shall mount to clearer skies. [Chorus]

3 Consecrate thy all to Jesus,
Holding back no part within,
Body, soul, yea, time and talent,
All thou hast except thy sin. [Chorus]

4 Pray unceasing, He will hear thee,
None shall e’er be cast aside,
With His blood He waits to seal thee,
And with thee He will abide. [Chorus]

5 Cast thy ev’ry care on Jesus,
Tho’ thy future be unknown;
Trust the spirit to reveal it,
He will leave thee not alone. [Chorus]
