My sweet garden's grace,
Showers thou God's goodness
Lighting every place.

2 He who makes thee beautiful,
So that all who see,
Joy in thy clear shining,
Must all goodness be.

3 Face of purest goodness,
Face of spotless light,
See I in thy flower,
Gleaming snowy white.

4 O that I were spotless,
Pure and clear like thee;
Free from every burden,
Blessed should I be.
