Sylvia Rose Cobb (b. c.1954) attended Southwestern Christian College (Terrell, Tex.) and completed her undergraduate studies at Harding University (Searcy, Ark.). She taught music at Southwestern Christian College for three years and has lived most of her life in the Detroit, Michigan metropolitan area, teaching, writing, singing, and publishing music. Her Songs of Faith hymnal is a collection of fifty spiritual songs she authored and composed. Southwestern Christian College awarded her an honorary doctorate in 2025. Go to person page >
