Representative Text

1 O holy God, whose gracious power redeems us,
Make us by faith, true stewards of your grace.
Help us to hear and heed Christ's great commission,
sharing good news in this our time and place.

2 Go we to all the world as Christ commanded
To be your witnesses both far and near,
To feed the flock and to nourish flesh and spirit,
Sensing in sacrament, Christ's presence here.

3 Spirit divine, we need your loving favor,
For we confess we cannot stand alone.
May we receive and give with equal pleasure,
Thus building strong your church in flesh, not stone.

4 So may we face the future without swerving,
Always empowered to witness to your grace,
In thankfulness for gifts received and given,
And for those moments when we glimpse your face.
