Peter Warwick Cutts (b. 1937) was born in Birmingham, England and currectly resides in West Yorkshire, England. After 25 years teaching music at colleges in Yorkshire, Peter moved to Massachusetts in 1989 to take up positions as Director of Music at a number of churches and at Andover Newton Theological School, and relocated to the UK on retirement in 2005. His revised edition of Eric Routley's English Speaking Hymnal Guide is due to appear in the summer of 2005. He is the composer of over 130 hymn tunes, some 90 of which appear in print throughout the English-speaking world. His best-known tune, BRIDGEGROOM, appears in almost all major hymnals and is sometimes set to mulitple texts. Peter Cutts is represented in the U.S. and Canada by Hope… Go to person page >
