A person identifier is the internal way of identifying a person. It should normally be of the form "Lastname_FirstName" (ex. Johann Sebastian Bach becomes Bach_Johann.) If the identifier is already used, a number will be appended in order to guarantee a unique ID. Or, if a middle initial is available that makes the name unique, you can add it like so: Bach_JohannS.
