Text person

A text person is a person who is the author, versifier, translator, paraphraser, etc. of a text.

Guidelines

  • If the text comes from a source other than a person, such as another hymnbook, list that in the text source field.
  • If the dates of the author's life are included in the hymnal, add them in this field, using name, date of birth and death in this format: J. S. Bach, 1685-1750.
