The standard form for a tune identifier includes the composer's name at the end if it is known (e.g. st_leonard_hiles).
New tune identifiers (entered after August 2010) must be in the new form. Existing identifiers should be changed to the new form when a tune is being edited, but only if a Google search shows that there are no external links to the tune.
A Google search can be formulated as follows to see if there are external links to a tune authority page:
"/tune/azmon_glaser" -site:hymnary.org
If there are two tunes by the same composer with the same name, you can add an incipit:
