Hark, dear souls, do listen closely
To the promise from above.
Jesus comforts and consoles you
With the spirit of His love.
1 All of you He wants to hold,
In His loving arms enfold.
With this message He is sending
All you need for bliss unending:
2. For where two or three are gathered
In My name in faith so true,
With Me you will be in spirit
Just as I will be with you.
With My Father I will plead
For you at the Mercy Seat.
He will hear your pray'r and guide you
And with help He will provide you.
3. God, My Father, would not ever
Fail to listen when I pray
And I know that He would never
Cease to help those gone astray.
Heaven's door is open wide,
Should you wish to come inside
He grants with a Father's wisdom
What is needed for His kingdom.
