1 Always do your best for Jesus,
Whatsoe’er the task may be;
Let the light so shine that others,
In your life the Christ may see.

Always put your trust in Jesus,
Ever keep the cross of Christ in view;
Gazing there you will remember
How He bled and died for you.

2 Always do your best for Jesus,
Never quench the Spirit’s fire!
He will make your life a blessing
And with joy your soul inspire. [Refrain]

Oft as called to give for Him!
Whether time, or strength, or money,
