94. Faith

1 Faith can bridge the gulf between,
Faith can gaze on things unseen;
Faith can trust in darkest days,
And can sound a note of praise.

2 Faith can look beyond the tomb,
Faith can pierce the circling gloom,
See its treasures in the sky,
Wait for meetings by and by.

3 Faith is sure that all is planned,
By a loving Father’s hand;
There-forth faith can calmly rest,
All is working for the best.

4 Faith believes the Lord is near,
He will very soon appear;
So faith bravely plods along,
For the way will not be long.
