1 Thy way, O Lord, not mine;
Thy will be done, not mine;
Since Thou for me didst bleed,
And now doth intercede,
Each day I simply plead:
Thy will be done.

Incline my heart each day to say,
"Thy will be done."

2 Thy way, O Lord, not mine;
Let glory all be Thine;
Keep me, lest I may stray,
Near Thee from day to day;
Teach me to watch and pray;

3 Hide me from self, O Lord;
May I attend Thy word;
Send pride beyond recall,
Let each assailer fall;
Be Thou my all in all;

4 Submissively I bow;
With strength and grace endow
This weary, sinful heart;
Shield from each cruel dart;
May I from Thee ne'er part;
