1 O the great joy that I find in His service.
Working for Jesus from day unto day,
Praying and feasting on food pure and holy,
I'm on my heavenly way.

Joy, yes, 'tis joy in His service,
Joy that descends from above;
Working and watching and waiting and praying,
Kept by the Savior's love.

2 By faith each day I can view the great mansions,
Decked with the gems of a heavenly grace,
Angels sing sweetly the songs of redemption,

3 Day after day I will sing of His mercy,
For every hour His grace is anew,
I praise His name for I'm still on my journey,
