1 Faith like a solid rock,
Lord, give to me;
Faith that is anchored form,
Saviour, on Thee;
Faith that, in good or ill,
Clings to Thy promise still,
Hears and obeys Thy will,
Trusting in Thee.

2 Faith like a solid rock
Time cannot move;
Faith that o’ercomes the world,
Wording by love;
Faith that, without a fear,
Led by Thy hand so dear,
Walks through the waters drear,
Trusting Thy love.

3 Faith like a solid rock,
Lord, give to me;
Faith that in darkest hour
Thy smile can see;
Faith that can all resign,
If Thy command divine;
Faith that through tears will shine,
Trusting in Thee.
