There are millions who perish because of delay;

Let the beams of His beauty dispel all the night.

Lo! the hungry are crying; go help ye their need;

Tho’ the tempter defieth, Christ reigneth above;
Tell the weary He giveth a rest from their cares,
And proclaim to the fettered that freedom is theirs. [Refrain]
