163. Trusting, not Afraid

1 Christ the Saviour died for me,
His rich grace hath set me free;
Since His blood atonement made,
I will trust, and not be afraid.

Refrain:
Trusting, not afraid,
All my hope on Jesus staid,
Trusting, till I see
That bright home prepared for me.

2 Hosts of sin my soul alarm,
Leaning on my Saviour’s arm,
I need never be dismayed,
I will trust, and not be afraid. [Refrain]

3 When upon life’s sunny skies,
Heavy clouds of grief arise,
He will lead me thro’ the shade,
I will trust, and not be afraid. [Refrain]

4 When my work is ended here,
When to Jordan I draw near,
He will comfort, He will aid,
I will trust, and not be afraid. [Refrain]
