| Text: | The Worship of God |
| Author: | Oriana M. Williams |
| Tune: | [Not alone on rugged mountains] |
| Composer: | W. J. Baltzell |
1 Not alone on rugged mountains
May we worship God the Lord,
Not alone in templed city
May the Father be adored.
Refrain:
We may worship Him in spirit
Anywhere today.
Never from the souls who seek Him
Will He turn away.
2 Jesus said, “The hour is coming,
Yea, is even now at hand
When true souls devoutly worship
God, the Lord, in ev’ry land.” [Refrain]
3 If we bow in truth and spirit
Humbly now before His throne,
He who seeketh such to worship
Will receive us as His own. [Refrain]
