1 I cannot see before me
What may my steps betide,
But God’s own eye is o’er me,
And He can seas divide.

2 Though danger may beset me,
The God of power’s my friend,
And He will never let me
Need care, and not defend.

3 Though Satan’s hosts defy me,
My God is more than they,
And help He’ll not deny me,
While I His will obey.
