13813. Help Me, Blessed Savior

1 In my weakness, dearest Savior,
Help me fully to rely
On Thy good and faithful promise;
Guide me with Thine eye.

Refrain:
Help me, O my blessed Savior,
Let Thy Spirit seal my own,
Till in heavenly perfection,
I shall know as I am known.

2 Oft the burdens seem too heavy,
And the cause I cannot see;
Then I long to drop the burdens,
And from sorrow flee. [Refrain]

3 When the way looks dark before me,
And I seem to walk alone,
Hear me say, ’mid darkest shadows,
Let Thy will be done. [Refrain]
