1 Out of sin and out of night,
Jesus calls me into light,
And He says in words so sweet,
I’ll make life with bliss replete,
And the shadows shall not fall on you.

So this one thing I know,
Where He leads me I’ll go:
There will be no dark shadow
Across my road.

2 And so oft He speaks to me,
And His voice sounds tenderly,
"Go not back into the night,
Stay with Me in paths of light,
