| Text: | My Savior, I Am Thine (Dear Savior, I Am Thine0 |
| Author: | Philip Doddridge, 1702-1751 |
| Tune: | GOLDEN HILL |
| Media: | MIDI file |
1 My Savior, I am Thine
By everlasting bands;
My name, my heart I would resign,
My soul is in Thy hands.
2 To Thee I still would cleave
With ever growing zeal;
Let millions tempt me Christ to leave,
They never shall prevail.
3 His Spirit shall unite
My soul to Him, my head,
Conform me to His image bright,
Teach me His path to tread.
4 Death will my soul divide
From this abode of clay;
But love shall keep me near His side
Thro’ all the gloomy way.
5 Since Christ and I are one,
There’s nothing else to fear.
If He in Heav’n hath fixed His throne,
He’ll fix His members there.
