16332. When The Book Is Opened

1 When the Book is opened on that last great day,
Will your heart be glad within?
Will your name be written on the dear Lord’s side,
Or among the hosts of sin?

Refrain:
I shall see Him with rejoicing;
A song of praise I’ll sing;
My name is written in the Book of Life,
And I’m on the side of the King.

2 When the trump is sounding thro’ the flaming skies,
When from Heav’n the Judge descends,
Will you stand with those who have rejected Him,
Or among His loyal friends? [Refrain]

3 When the Book is opened and the record read,
Will the Christ stand by your side,
Saying, "Righteous Father, give to Me My own;
For this soul I bled and died!" [Refrain]
