2 Hark! the high­est heav­ens ring­ing,
Hark! the quiv’r­ing an­gels sing­ing,
"This is East­er Day!
No more griev­ing! no more sigh­ing!

Christ is king this day!"
With the bless­èd ones be­fore us,
We will swell the heav’n­ly chor­us—
