AVII. Thanks

1 We thank thy name oh Lord,
That we are still thy care,
That thou hast spread the board,
Again with frugal fare,
And fed us richly with thy food,
Oh! may it do our natures good.

2 Oh! may our souls be fed,
With manna from above,
That pure celestial bread,
And faith that works by love,
That we may daily grow in grace,
And run with joy the heavenly race.
