70. Jesus Is His Name

1 There is a Friend whose love is free
Alike to rich and poor,
He watches over you and me,
His love is strong and sure;
No matter what may be our lot,
His mercy we may claim,
This faithful Friend will fail us not,
And Jesus is His name.

This Friend whom ev’ry one may claim,
And we His love divine may plead,
For Jesus is a Friend indeed!

2 His grace is like the morning dew,
That sweetens earth and sky,
Refreshing ev’ry heart anew,
