43. Whiter, Whiter than Snow

1 Whiter than snow, is my prayer, dear Lord,
Whiter than snow today;
Wash me and cleanse me in Thine own blood,
Take all my sin away.

Refrain:
Whiter, whiter than snow,
Jesus, make me to know;
That my heart is free from sin,
And pure within.

2 Purge me with fire, all my dross consume,
Let not one spot remain,
Till all my being is purified,
And Christ alone doth reign. [Refrain]

3 Sanctify wholly, O Lord, I pray,
Fill me with love divine;
Let ev’ry part of my ransomed life,
Be all, and only, Thine. [Refrain]

4 Grant me Thy power for service, Lord,
Help me to live and love,
Till Thou shalt call me from earth’s domain,
To heav’nly realms above. [Refrain]
