47. When Jesus walked in Galilee

1 Oh, let the story oft be told,
“When Jesus walked in Galilee;”
‘Twill never, never grow too old,

He healed the sick, the lame and blind,
He came the sinners lost to find;
A loving Savior of mankind,

2 He brought salvation full and free,

He said to all, Come follow me,

Oh, how the hearts of men were stirred,
As everywhere His voice was heard,
Still ringing forth the living word,

3 His mercy now is just the same
As when He walked in Galilee;
To save both you and me He came,

Oh, will ye not obey the call?
He shed His blood to free us all
From sinful Adam’s mighty fall,
