49. Christ of Galilee

1 As Jesus walked the stormy waves,
The fears of loved ones to allay,
By faith we know His power saves
Today, the same as yesterday.

Refrain:
O, blessed Christ of Galilee,
I pray Thee walk the waves with me;
I must not drift away from Thee,
Thou blessed Christ of Galilee.

2 The storm is on, the sun is dark,
I hear the breaker’s ceaseless moan;
Come, Master, enter my frail barque,
That I may never be alone. [Refrain]

3 And when the sea of life is past,
And all the conflicts here are o’er,
When I have gained the port at last
I’ll praise Thy name forevermore. [Refrain]
