Because you are passing this way?
Are you trying to win
From the thraldom of sin,
Some wand’ring one now gone astray?

Shining steady and bright,
To make the world better today!

2 Is the world any brighter, my brother,
More cheerful because of your song?
As you travel life’s road,
Do you lighten the load
Of burdened ones passing along? [Refrain]

3 ‘Tis the time of seed-sowing, my brother,
Tomorrow the Reaper may come.
Sow the seeds here and there,
Scatter truth everywhere,
For the day of the great Harvest Home. [Refrain]
