1 This day in answer to God's call
We gather in these hallowed walls,
And joyful hymn and fervent prayer
Rise mingling on the holy air.

2 May searching hearts that seek release
Here find the blessing of God's peace
And strengthened here by hymn and prayer
Go forth to work with heavenly care.

3 Life's tumult we must meet again:
We cannot at this shrine remain;
But lifted here in light and power
We can remember this high hour.
