Taking Him for our Guide;
Holding His hand we can never stray
Far from His wounded side.

2 Looking to Jesus day by day,
Ever for fresh supply,
Never a blessing will He delay,
Nought but in love deny.

3 Speaking for Jesu day by day,
Telling what He has done;
Helping some wand’rer to find the way,
Guiding some erring one.

4 Singing for Jesus day by day,
Praising His name in song;
Telling His love in a happy lay
Gladly the whole day long.

5 Living for Jesu day by day,
Sharing His grace and love,
Bearing His cross, that by this we may
Share in His joy above.
