| Text: | Ye are come unto Mount Zion |
| Author: | M. W. Stubbs |
| Tune: | RANSOMED |
| Composer: | M. W. Stubbs |
1 Now return with singing,
Ransom’d of the Lord;
In the heights of Zion
Sing with one accord.
Past the night of weeping,
Morning joy is theirs!
Passing thro’ the springs o’erflow
In this vale of tears.
2 Ye are come to Zion,
To the heav’nly seat;
Everlasting joy shall crown
Life “in God” complete:
Thro’ the Blood of sprinkling,
By a living Way;
Last and least, in our High-Priest,
Ent’ring in to stay!
3 Entering in for ever,
To go “no more out”;
To the song and banquet,
And the victor’s shout:
Entering in as sinners,
“Far off;” now “brought nigh”;
We are come to God our Home,
On His heart to lie.
4 We are “no more worthy,”
Bankrupts to Thy grace;
Ours the robe, the shoes, the ring,
Ours to see Thy face;
Ours the feast of gladness,
Merriment divine;
Laud and praise be Thine alway,
And the glory Thine!
