1 There's coming a time when all who have journeyed
Patiently in the heavenly way,
Will hear the dear Master tenderly saying,
"Enter my rest, O child of the day."

Will you be there, your life's work all done?
As the redeemed shall hear the glad welcome,
On His right hand, O will you be one?

2 There's coming a time of judgment eternal,
Day when the works of men shall be tried;
When only the pure, the godly, the holy,
Happy with Christ in heav'n shall abide. [Refrain]

3 There's coming a time when sinners shall hear Him,
Saying in anger, "From me depart!"
And driven to doom, shall wail that they never
Gave to the Lord the love of their heart. [Refrain]

4 This wonderful time is swiftly approaching,
Will you not now to meet it prepare?
Repent and believe, be filled with the Spirit;
Hurry! the time of judgment is near. [Refrain]
