1 The day of resurrection!
come, spread the news abroad;
the passover of gladness,
the passover of God:
from death to life eternal,
from earth up to the sky,
our Christ has brought us over
with hymns of victory.

2 Now let the skies be joyful
and earth sing back her praise;
let all the nations worship
the God of endless days:
let all things seen and unseen
their joyful music blend,
for Christ the Lord has risen —
our triumph knows no end!
