35. Living for the Master

1 Living for the Master only,
Fills my life with joy complete;
Tho’ I know I am not worthy
Of a fellowship so sweet.

Living for the Master,
Doing only His bidding each day,
Living in His service
Gives me joy ev’ry step of the way.
Growing in the fullness
Of a grace that He only can give,
Fills me with a longing;
Closer to Him may I live.

2 Living for the Master sweetens
Ev’ry bitter cup I take;
If it is His will to give it
I will drink it for His sake. [Refrain]

3 Living for the One who loved me,
Yielding up His life for me,
Calls for all that’s best within me,
Faithful to His cause to be. [Refrain]
