84. Don’t Be Worried

1 Do not worry about tomorrow,
Do not fear what may never be;
Do not fret nor begin to borrow
Any troubles you may never see.

Don’t be worried, don’t be worried,
Do your best and smile,
Skies will be brighter, hearts will be lighter
After a little while;
Don’t be worried, don’t be worried,
Tho’ today seem drear;
Birds will be singing,
Joybells be ringing,
Happy days are near.

2 Ev’ry cloud has a silver lining,
Far above it the blue, blue sky,
Just remember the sun is shining,
All the gloom will depart by and by. [Refrain]

3 Trust in God when the sun is shining,
Trust in Him tho’ the day be drear;
Trust in God and be not repining,
Rest assured, for He is ever near. [Refrain]
