1 Blessed be He, the God of our salvation,
Sing unto Him, ye kingdoms of the earth,
O praise Him!
He giveth strength and pow’r unto His people,
Wisdom is His in whom it hath its birth.

Hail Him, Creator, hail Him the King!
Now to His courts an off’ring bring,
Trust Him forever through evil days,
His hand shall guide thee through life’s devious ways.

2 He gives His word and armies flee before Him,
His chariots rise upon the heavens high,
O praise Him!
All ye His saints rejoice with joy and gladness,
His ear is tuned to hear thy faintest cry. [Refrain]

3 He lifts His hand and silence reigns before Him,
He speaks and earth is shaken by His voice,
O praise Him!
Ye who are His, for ye He shall deliver;
His whisper bids thy trembling soul rejoice. [Refrain]
