In thy arms, O Lord, receive us,
Suffer us thy Lambs to be.

2 Blessed Saviour! thou hast bidden
Babes like us to come to thee;

3 Thanks to thee, who freely gave us
Thy exalted Son to die;
From eternal death to save us;
