1 March forward, Christian children,
March forward in the right;
The Lord is now your Leader,
Your pathway shall be bright.
In vain assails the tempter;
The Lord shall be your shield,
If on his love depending,
Allegiance you shall yield.

2 He "will give grace and glory:"
Grace till our warfare's o'er,
And glory, bright, supernal,
On heaven's eternal shore;
March forward, Christian children,
Trust in the Lord your might;
Life's battle ne'er give over,
You're "precious in his sight."
