75. Jesus is Precious to Me

1 There’s a Friend Who will never forsake me,
His love is so full and so free,
Tho’ trials may often o’ertake me,
He always is precious to me.

Jesus is precious to me,
Dearer than all else is He,
Wherever I go, His love I will show,
For He is precious to me.

2 I can trust Him, whatever betide me,
He never unfaithful will be,
When the tempter is near, He will hide me,
And so He is precious to me. [Refrain]

3 He is always bestowing some blessing,
Tho’ I all unworthy may be,
My heart He is ever possessing,
And that makes Him precious to me. [Refrain]

4 As the end of life’s journey draws nearer,
New beauties in Him I can see,
Each day to my heart He is dearer,
And growing more precious to me. [Refrain]
