Bright seraphs, cherubim, and thrones,

Cry out, dominions, princedoms, pow'rs,
Archangels, virtues, angel choirs:

2 O higher than the cherubim,
More glorious than the seraphim,
Lead their praises; "Alleluia!"
Thou bearer of the eternal Word,
Most gracious, magnify the Lord:
