1 In this glad employ,
Many moments of joy
Have we measured in harmony true;
The time rolled along,
Like a sweet, varied song,
And with sighs we pronounce an adieu.

2 Adieu! may we meet,
For a glorious repeat,
In the church on Mount Zion above;
There angel shall join
In the concert divine,
And the chorus of all shall be love.
