1 Glory to God in the highest,
and peace to God's people on earth.

2 We praise you, we bless you,
we worship you, we give thanks to you
for your great glory,

3 Holy One, heavenly God,
the Creator and the sovereign God.

4 O Jesus Christ, only Child of God,
O Sovereign God, Lamb of God,

5 You take away the sin of the world:
have mercy on us:

6 You are seated at the right hand of Majesty;
receive our prayer.

7 For you alone are the Messiah,
you alone are the Holy One,

8 You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of the triune God.
