| Text: | Lord, I am Willing |
| Author: | C. Austin Miles |
| Tune: | [Lord, let my eyes be quick to see] |
| Composer: | Jos. G. Johnson |
1 Lord, let my eyes be quick to see,
A wayward one by sin distrest,
And help me bring that soul to Thee,
To dwell in peace and perfect rest.
Refrain:
Lord, I am willing ever to be,
Useful in service only for Thee;
So take and use me, imperfect still,
Save as I strive to follow Thy will.
2 Lord, let my ears be keen to hear,
The cry of those in woe or pain,
And speak a word of hope and cheer,
To lift them up to joy again. [Refrain]
3 My strong desire is not that I
May merit words of praise from men,
But rather please my Lord, and try
To bring lost souls to Him again. [Refrain]
