Who the Saviour obey
And have laid up their treasure above!

The sweet comfort and peace
Of a soul in its earliest love?

My Redeemer to know,
And the angels could do nothing more
Than to fall at his feet,
And the story repeat,
And the Lover of sinners adore.

3 Then all the day long
Was my Jesus my song.
And redemption through faith in his name;
Oh that all might believe,
And salvation receive,
And their song and their joy be the same!
