124. More than Conquerors

1 In the warfare of life there are conflicts with sin,
There is many and many a battle to win;
But with Jesus to help us without and within,
We shall be “more than conquerors.”

Refrain:
More than conquerors, more than conquerors,
We are more than conquerors thro’ Christ our Lord;
More than conquerors, more than conquerors,
Thro’ Him that loved us, Christ our Lord.

2 ‘Mid the strife and the clamor, the doubting and fears,
There is need for a courage to reach thro’ the years;
But if we shall endure till the ending appears,
We shall be “more than conquerors.” [Refrain]

3 O the glory and joy when the conflict is done!
O the shouts of rejoicing when triumph is won!
In the garments of light, shining forth as the sun,
We shall be “more than conquerors.” [Refrain]
