27. How Lovely on the Sabbath Day

1 How lovely on the Sabbath Day
The heights of faith to climb,
Translated from the week day cares,
To walk in realms sublime.

2 My heart becomes so full of joy
It doth to song arouse,
And sings in worship joyously,
Within my Father's house.

3 Rekindled by the Spirit's breath
Messiah's courage flames
And burns with wondrous hope and pow'r;
The love of Yah acclaims.

4 Surrounded by an atmosphere
Of heav'nly light and grace,
Mid Sharon's blossoms sweetest scent,
Glad songs all fears displace.

[5] The heart becomes an altar there,
With Yahshua not far.
I sing my sacrifice to Him
With tho'ts of Golgotha.
