1 Lift up the voice, with gladness sing,
Let songs of praise triumphant ring;
With ev’ry creature Him adore,
Who reigns supreme forevermore.

Rejoice! rejoice!
Let songs of triumph ring;
Rejoice, rejoice,
Rejoice in Christ your King.

2 Rejoice! for now the strife is done,
And Christ the Lord hath vict’ry won;
For us the cross of shame He bare;
Rejoice! for in His joy we share. [Refrain]

3 In Christ let all the earth rejoice
And sing aloud with cheerful voice,
While angels worship and adore
The Prince who reigns forevermore. [Refrain]

4 Lift up, lift up the voice of joy,
Let ceaseless praise your tongues employ;
Before His feet in homage fall
And crown the Saviour King of all. [Refrain]
